School Contract Therapy Services
Speak Wonders contracts with the public agency or school district to implement special education and related services to students suspected of having a disability and/or students identified with a disability. Our services are provided in accordance to special education standards and indicators set forth by Missouri’s Department of Elementary and
Secondary Education.
Independent Education Evaluations (IEE)
An individual evaluation of a student thought to have a speech and/or language disability is conducted by Speak Wonders, who is not employed by the public agency or school district responsible for the education of the student. A parent/guardian can request an IEE at public expense from a school district. The school has to consider the results of an IEE to make sure the student receives a free appropriate public education.
Parent / Professional Trainings
Teaching parents and professionals how to promote better speech and language skills in and outside of the classroom. We also educate on various topics related to speech and language therapy, special education process in school districts, and signs and symptoms of communication delays and disorders.
